Most bath oils when added to your bath float on the surface of the water and you get the benefit of the oils only as you stand up to get out; your towel and your tub get the rest!

It's time to re think the humble bath oil that Granny used to use.

At Celtic Herbal we make our bath oils with a coconut oil based dispersant, which turns the bath cloudy, allowing the oils to gently blend into the water. The moisturising vegetable oils and pure therapeutic essential oils are absorbed quickly and effectively into the skin leaving your body fabulously smooth and soft. Therapeutic body baths

Therapeutic herbal body baths using herbal bath blends, essential oil filled bath oils and herbal sea salt can be beneficial in soothing minor ailments and increasing your sense of well being. As a traditional remedy a soothing bath in scented, herb enriched water promotes relaxation and gives your body time to heal itself naturally.

Bath oil is one of the most effective ways of benefiting from the high concentrations of essential oils held within, especially when the oils are fully dispersed in the water.

We can't promise you instant health but our five aromatic bath oils, crammed full of essential oils, are carefully blended to fully realise the benefits of aromatherapy while relaxing you and moisturising your skin.

We use only natural ingredients such as sweet almond oil known to soften, soothe and condition the skin, coconut oil which moisturises and serves as a protective layer to retain moisture and our own unique blends of essential oils. Just add a small amount to warm running water to create your own home spa.

 

We have five blends to choose from:-

Lavender, Rosemary & Mandarin Bath Oil

A gently revitalizing blend with lavender oil, the most widely used essential oil, chosen here for its perfume and to balance the body and mind. To this we add Rosemary oil, an invigorating oil with a fresh fragrance and Mandarin oil a gentle stimulant with a floral citrus scent renown for its therapeutic effects on digestive problems in both the young and elderly.

Combined these create a re-awakening bath full of therapeutic lavender scent with hints of herb and citrus.

 

Rose, Grapefruit and Lavender Bath Oil

A relaxing feminine blend with a hint of citrus.

The beautiful floral scent of rose oil, a powerful anti-depressant renown for its therapeutic effects in feminine disorders, is blended here with detoxifying grapefruit and balancing lavender.

A beautifully scented, relaxing bath to balance both mind and body.

 

Relaxing Bath Oil

Relax and soak away the day in this glorious blend of essential oils.

The uplifting scent of Bergamot oil clears the day's depression and calms the nerves, Geranium warms and relaxes you whilst balancing your skin and easing fluid retention and the sensual musky scent of Patchouli, renown as an aphrodisiac, completes your relaxation.

Reviving Bath Oil

The perfect pick me up, our Reviving Bath Oil blends three invigorating essential oils. Lemongrass, to stimulate digestion, Peppermint to invigorate but also to warm and Rosemary a 'cleanly' fragranced essential oil used widely in medicine and of course cookery.

If you've had a hard day at the office or in the garden and need to recharge your batteries then this is the bath oil for you.

 

Detox Bath Oil

We’ve all heard how toxins from our everyday lives are being built up in our bodies, leading to health problems and lethargy. We can reduce these levels by eating well, exercising and drinking lots of water and at Celtic Herbal Company we can support your detox plan with our aromatherapy Detox Bath Oil.

We've carefully blended Lemon oil which counteracts acidity in the body and is a good digestive tonic with Juniper, Grapefruit and Lavender oils. Juniper has been known since antiquity as an antiseptic and diuretic, and is one of the most important oils in detoxification. Juniper oil has a tonic effect on the urino-gential tract, both purifying and stimulating. Grapefruit oil is great for fluid retention, cellulite reduction and other conditions where toxins are not being eliminated effectively.

Finally we add Lavender oil, used here to aid digestive problems and also for its calming and normalising effect.

Detox doesn’t have to be difficult.
